You and me are not so different
I was just going through my favorites looking for inspiration and noticed due to pickiness I didn't have all that much in that folder. I was looking at a couple favorites that I added a few months back "Dwarf Warrior" and "Warduke pencils" and ended up taking a look through your gallery.
Your stuff is VERY reminiscent to me of Chris Metzen's concept art from the original Warcraft: Orcs and Humans manual (he did them in WCII as well). His concept work on those games have been my biggest influence artistically. Seeing your stuff is really impressive and inspirational for me. I'm watching you and look forward to more (in particular that comic you talked about). I'm surprised you don't have more watchers, awesome work!
Oh! Almost forgot! UP THE IRONS!!!!! \../

I am happy to have you and I hope you submit your art. I hope you find people to reconnect with and chat about the good ol' EQ days.
Currently I am on my second to last semester of school and I will be very busy until May 2011.
After that, I will certainly get the group into high gear and put into effect many of the updates and ideas I have written down for this place. I hope to create a wonderful community with members like you to enjoy and possibly find friends that you lost touch with from when you played EQ. Making new friends is always a good thing too!
I have been doing my best to log on at least once a week to check for any updates (such as art submissions) and will continue to do so. If you submit work that expires or send me a note I might miss, please resubmit/resend and I will get to it as soon as possible.
If you need to send me a note on my main account, feel free!
If you have any ideas I am open to them! I would like to start a forum in the future for us to use, unless deviantART comes out with one for groups in the meantime.
Anyway, thanks for joining and I hope you stay until we really get rockin'! I have big plans for the future, and if we get enough members I might start a contest with a long deadline (1-2 months at least).
